7/13 - “I see dead people watching dead people if they’re watching The 6th Sense”

By The Stabbing Pen | July 13, 2008

Every weekend, when it’s in-season, the Hollywood Forever Cemetery shows a classic movie outdoors on a large screen, where a crowd gathers in a picnic-style environment.  It’s sort of a bizarre setting for a film, but many people seem to enjoy it.

I wonder, do all the dead people mind all these visitors stopping by on the weekends?  I mean, the movie-goers typically sit on lounge chairs, or blankets.  It’s not as if they are using headstones as headrests.

I think the dead people probably welcome the guests.  Things are probably pretty quiet during the week, and when you’re in the midst of an eternity of nothingness, some excitement on the weekends couldn’t hurt.

Above all, all the dead people get in for free!
