8/5 - “If I get hit by a bus tomorrow, please delete my Myspace/Facebook”
By The Stabbing Pen | August 5, 2008
If a person is dead and their name is not Elvis Presley, there is no reason for them to continue to have an up and running Myspace page — where people can continue to leave comments, as if the person is still alive. This is not an example of “coping with death in your own way.” This is creepy, and even worse is mentally unhealthy behavior.
I haven’t given anybody my password, so I guess that an official statement about closing my Myspace account post-death is something that belongs in a will. Since I don’t have a will, hopefully Tom will read this post, and take the necessary actions should I get hit by a bus tomorrow. Same thing goes for whoever the Facebook mofo is.
