I’ve never hit a deer or anything when I’ve been driving, but should this terrible event occur, I would have no idea what to do. This is especially true if the deer is merely injured, and not dead.
What do you do? Get out of the car? Give the deer CPR? Bandage up the animal? Who do you call? 9-1-1? A vet? No idea. How does this work?
Obviously if I hit a squirrel or a raccoon, I just keep driving. Those animals are much smaller. Who cares about them…
