11/17 - “Consequences for slow service”
By The Stabbing Pen | November 17, 2008
I can try to avoid being too cliché by criticizing the lack of overall quality pizza and general slow food service in LA, but I figured out a way to get back at a local pizza place that has incredibly slow service.
During halftime of last Sunday’s Redskins/Cowboys game, me and a friend were waiting for our pizza to be made. WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE PLACE.
Yet, we seemingly waited forever for one simple pie to be made. Sensing the second half of the football game was going to start soon, we asked if we could change the TV they had in the place to the game. The girl at the register handed us the remote, but we were unable to find the game. Scanning through the channels, I noticed a one-click option to order Pay-Per-View programs, or to order new channels that weren’t part of their basic satellite package.
So yes, if you don’t finish making our pizza soon, you can expect some major surprises on your satellite bill at the end of the month.
