I’m not an expert on Vodka, and I’m not an expert when it comes to Red Bull either.  As far as I can see, the jury is still out on the dangers of combining these two things.  Well, for one thing drinking lots of either can’t be very healthy.  That especially goes for Red Bull.  In general, there’s just something very gross to me about energy drinks (besides the taste).   They all just seem so unnatural, and filled with artificial chemicals, etc.

Many consider Vodka and Red Bull a dangerous mix because alcohol is a depressant, while the caffeine in Red Bull is a stimulant, which can cause a person to “black out,” but continue to have the ability to drink significantly more after doing so.

In fact, some bars/communities have gone so far to ban the sale of this drink.  This is why I was somewhat taken aback when I came across this Skyy Vodka display in the supermarket.  It was a large display with cases upon cases of Skyy, but in addition plenty of Red Bull was strategically placed in that same display.  I just don’t think from a moral standpoint the supermarket needs to encourage us.  There are plenty of other available mixers that go well with Vodka.  Pretty much anything goes with Vodka.  If you want Red Bull, that’s fine.  You have that right.  But I think you should just walk down the aisle where it’s normally placed and go get some.

Hmmm, lemme think of some kinda related analogy.  How about, um, it’s like Walmart having the guns available in plain view, but at least they keep the bullets behind counter.  Know what I mean?  That’s the best I could do for ya, folks.
