I know very little about taking care of babies.  In fact, I’ve never even changed a baby’s diaper before.  At this point in my life, I have little desire to do this anyway.

After observing society and watching sitcoms, I see that baby humans have very weak necks, and if you don’t support their heads while holding them, those heads will just bounce/flop around.

What about using some sort of support accessory? — like what football players sometimes wear to help prevent potential paralysis, but baby-sized.

Maybe not that exact pad, but there are other neck support/protection options out there.  Forget Babies R’ Us, go to your local sporting goods store!
