Funny how for women to own vibrators and dildos in today’s day and age is very much socially acceptable.  I don’t have the numbers and facts in front of me, but I assume every girl owns some kinda personal device.  In today’s Sex and The City world we live in, it’s cool, and I suppose I support anything that helps people get in touch with their bodies and their own sexuality.

Having said all that, for men, society seems to look at things differently.  For example, any guy who has ever owned a blow up doll has likely been the subject of much ridicule.  I’m not defending myself specifically (I swear!), but there’s nothing inherently wrong with owning a blow-up doll.  In fact, it serves the same purpose as that of a vibrator.

Nowadays, there’s this Fleshlight, which is a device shaped like a flashlight, but contains a soft slot-shaped orifice — available in mouth, vagina, and anus.

I’ve never tried this product, and the reviews I’ve come across seem to be mixed.  However, if people look down on a blow up doll because it seems more like a replacement for a girl, maybe society can accept the Fleshlight more as a supplement to a real girl.

The Fleshlight is closer in size and shape to a vibrator, so perhaps it can acquire the same amount of respect as a reputable sex toy.
