We all love to jam out and play a little air guitar when the mood strikes us.  However, I like to achieve authenticity with my air guitar playing.

Most guitar players, and most of my favorites are indeed right handed, but not all of ‘em.    Something just feels wrong if I’m jamming out right-handed to an Albert King or Nirvana song (Kurt Cobain’s a lefty), or a Jimi Hendrix tune.   As awkward as it might feel for me, a natural righty guitar to air guitar lefty, it just feels incredibly more inauthentic to air guitar righty to a lefty’s music.   It’s wrong I say!

What if someone sees me air guitaring with the wrong hand?   What might they think?   I refuse to put myself in that situation.
