It’s an internal debate we all have with ourselves on somewhat of a regular basis.

We ask ourselves, “Does what I want to communicate work better on the phone or via text?”

There’s only so much I can explain via text (frantic thumb-typing) without eventually thinking to myself, “What am I doing right now?  Wtf is wrong with me?” …then I just dial the person.

What about asking for favors?

Requesting favors via text is fine, as long as one asks for them politely.   However, depending on the size of the favor, a phone call could be required.

If it’s 2 or more favors, a phone call is likely required.
