My latest thoughts are sort of along the lines of these:

However, what I’m about to tell you carries even more weight from a moral perspective.
Even though I’m not over-the-top passionate when it comes to recycling, I absolutely despise wasting food, ever. (The doggie bag is one of man’s greatest creations).
So, you ever eat food off [...]
Yesterday during lunch I turn to a coworker who was eating chicken, and rambled, “I don’t understand. Chickens have breasts? I thought they’re birds, not mammals.”
Apparently I learned nothing in grade school. I was told technically a breast is the muscle, and a breast is not defined by having a nipple, or by the ability [...]

Lol, wtf are these people all about? Oh, they exist.
It’s definitely possible to be a fat vegetarian. I believe Prince Fielder, the first baseman of the Milwaukee Brewers qualifies as one.
Although motivations for becoming a vegetarian can vary, many people choose such a lifestyle for health reasons.
I’m always intrigued and amused by the contradictions and [...]

In the coming months and even years, I’ll likely be telling more and more Grandpa Sammy stories.
It must’ve been sometime in the late 1980’s or early 90’s — My grandpa parked the car across the street from a 7-11. With my sister and I (us kids) waiting in the car, Sammy asked us if we [...]

Since late August I’ve been on a bit of a health and fitness kick. Honestly, it’s more than a “kick” at this point. It’s my fucking lifestyle.
Sure my diet isn’t perfect, and I don’t work out 3 hours every day, but I think if I stick pretty close to what I’ve been doing, and remain [...]

Wow. All within one day……
First I’m picking up pizza at this place in Van Nuys, CA. I look up at the menu in the place, and realize they don’t offer baked ziti. I ask the employee there, “Do you guys make baked ziti?” He looks at me as if I’m speaking a different language. “What’s [...]

It’s a tough economy out there. Unemployment levels are high, and money seems scarce for many.
It’s only a matter of time before those in the food and restaurant business have to start cutting costs.
According to Robert, a co-worker of mine, it’s only a matter of time before businesses stop purchasing both forks and spoons.
With sporks, [...]

You see 24 hour McDonalds. 24 hour Subways and Taco Bells. Why can’t I get Chinese food 24 hours a day? I bet health-wise that Chinese food is no better or worse for you than typical fast food.
I’m not talking Chinese food chains like PF Chang’s, but more along the lines of Panda Express stuff.
All [...]
Sounds appetizing, doesn’t it?”
Believe it or not, it exists on a real menu. Yammy Pizza, on the corner of Sunset/Highland offers an “LA S.M.O.G. Pizza.” (has sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers). I guess that’s really smogp, but like I said, I’m just transcribing the menu.
If anyone knows me at all, they know all [...]
GRAPE BLOW POPS GET NO RESPECT.
It’s true, no matter who purchases a bag of Blow Pops, every single time the last few Blow Pops remaining are always the grape flavored ones. Why is this? They’re actually good. Independent of other flavored Blow Pops, should someone offer you a grape Blow Pop, you’d never turn it [...]
