They probably already have happened/exist, but I think the whole idea of them seems like a lot of fun.
Basically, it would work the same way as with a DJ taking requests. But instead of a DJ, it’s a VJ — and instead of just music, it’s videos.
If it’s house party, hopefully there’d be one big [...]

The other night I had the pleasure of seeing blues legends Buddy Guy and B.B. King perform live at the Hollywood Bowl here in Los Angeles.
For the record, Buddy is the young one of the duo, at 74. That’s because B.B. King is 84 YEARS OLD. Wow. Still playing guitar, still singing, and still touring [...]

“Music saved my life.” I’m sure you’ve heard people use that phrase, or something like it from time to time.
If you were poor, grew up in poverty, and had to endure all sorts of hardship — if you were beaten, abused, and constantly living in fear for your life —- THEN became a wildly successful [...]

A few weeks ago I was at a small barbecue. Inside the house is/was a keyboard. At some point during this lovely afternoon, a buddy of mine decided he was gonna play a little music.

So I told another friend I went window shopping recently. He asked me if I bought anything. I replied, [...]
In the office music plays via satellite radio. It’s not blasting, but it is audible background music nonetheless.
How we’ve been doing is setting up a sign-up sheet, where everyone can request what they’d like to hear. The radio is then set on that station for a whole week.
Anyway, I signed up and requested that we [...]

Often I’ll be listening to my iPod or some sort of playlist set to shuffle the songs.
What do I do when the Beatles’ song “You Never Give Me Your Money” plays? I can continue on with the shuffle, but a large part of my brain wants to hear the rest of the B-side of Abbey [...]
Those were the days. And by days, I mean the time period at the beginning of this concluding decade. Back in the day Winamp is what we used to play mp3’s on our computers. Today, I assume most people use iTunes.
While it’s easy to poke fun at defunct software and technology, I do remember one [...]
We all love to jam out and play a little air guitar when the mood strikes us. However, I like to achieve authenticity with my air guitar playing.
Most guitar players, and most of my favorites are indeed right handed, but not all of ‘em. Something just feels wrong if I’m jamming out right-handed to an [...]
