One of the conclusions that Mr. Chappelle came to is that Pepe Le Pew is basically a womanizing rapist.

Not only does Pepe force himself upon females, he goes outside of his species, and tries to make sexytime with a black cat, which somehow always manages to get a white stripe painted down her back.

As poor a role model for children as a rapist skunk is, would you believe that it was Speedy Gonzalez cartoons that historically were found to be more offensive?  In fact, according to Wikipedia, “Speedy,” was once banned from Cartoon Network, citing Speedy’s Mexican mice friends as offensive stereotypes of laziness, slothfulness, and even drunkenness.

Maybe this is offensive, but keep in mind it was here in the U.S. where it was banned.  In Mexico, and in most of Latin America, the people historically are fans of the cartoon.

I spoke to the appropriate government department on the phone, and followed up with an email to them —- here’s an excerpt from that email…

“…I’d like to issue a formal proposal to the city to put in a traffic light/pedestrian crosswalk on Sunset Blvd, between N. Gardner Street and N. Poinsettia Place.

Between these 2 streets on Sunset, there are 3 other streets (N. Vista, N. Martel, and N. Fuller).  What this means is that there is about 1500 feet in between the nearest traffic lights/crosswalks.

This area is a commercial one —- there’s Guitar Center, Sam Ash, Aroma Cafe, and several other shopping centers nearby.  With lots of foot traffic going by, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people jaywalk across Sunset Blvd — even I’ve been guilty of doing so.

To jaywalk across Sunset Blvd is overwhelmingly very, very dangerous.  Sunset Blvd has 4-5 lanes, and is one of the most heavily congested streets in the country.

I’ve seen the elderly jaywalk, and I’ve even seen those confined to a wheelchair dangerously and illegally cross the street.

Please make the necessary efforts to keep our community safe for pedestrians, by establishing another crosswalk strategically located somewhere in between Gardner and Poinsettia on Sunset Blvd…”

Despite this being very gay, I’m not against shirtless bartenders because of any homophobic reasons.

Even though female bartenders often also work rather scantily clad, I’ve yet to walk into an establishment with completely topless bartenders…..but I’d sure like to! hehe.

The point is, I can’t imagine it’s 100% sanitary to pour drinks with no shirt on.  Places get crowded, places get hot.  I don’t want some dude’s sweat all dripping in my drink.

I just think it’s funny sometimes to observe these mofos who consciously decide to do the whole limp-walk pimp-swagger.   Is that really your swagger, or are you injured?

Funny?  Yes.  But bothersome to me?  No.

I like it when people have some style.  When I see a person with an interesting walk, I see this person as somebody who has a zest for life.   Why do everything exactly the way everyone else does?  I say why not make an attempt at having some style and give something simple like walking some flair.

Of course, some people can pull off a swagger better than others….but I even have admiration for those who can’t really pull off a good swagger but attempt having one anyway……….still better than being a mindless zombie asshole conformist pussyburger.

I don’t know much about this stuff, but I do know that GPS tells you where to go, and some systems I believe even alert you of where heavy traffic is.

Oh yeah?  But what about parking?  There needs to be some sort of coordination between the GPS and sensors on parking spaces (street parking spaces).

How swell would it be if you automatically knew where the nearest available parking spot was?

The thing is, most aspiring careerists who go through broadcasting school I think would prefer to be in the booth, doing play by play.

As much as women have progressed in society, in the workforce, and specifically in the world of sport, having a female play by play announcer for football is still virtually unheard of.  Someday it’ll happen though.

There’s nothing wrong with a young girl aspiring to become a sideline reporter, but it’s still kind of like an aspiring football player hoping to someday merely be a special teams player.

It must’ve been sometime in the late 1980’s or early 90’s — My grandpa parked the car across the street from a 7-11.  With my sister and I (us kids) waiting in the car, Sammy asked us if we wanted anything from inside the store.

For whatever reason, we both answered, “Tic Tacs.”

5 minutes later he comes out of the store with a couple of Kit Kat bars.

There’s nothing more hilarious than old people who are hard of hearing —- especially when it results in an unexpected chocolately surprise.

Keep in mind that there’s no activity that’s more lax/chill than well, laying down.

Sometimes I’ll be on a couch or my bed, while wearing a cap backwards.   I’ll forget that cap is on, and when I lie back, the brim of the hat first makes contact with the pillow, thus preventing me from getting into proper lay-down position.

I think there’s a reason it’s physically impossible to lay down while wearing a backwards cap…..

…nobody should ever really be that comfortable.

You see, you are 100% paying for the brand name of Bailey’s.  You also are possibly paying double the cost of other Irish Creams available on the market.

You’re much better off going with Duggan’s, Feeneys, or Emmets —- which all taste EXACTLY the same as Bailey’s.

Anyway, that’s today’s advice for the budget-conscious alcoholic.
